I have always painted to get away from things and now I cannot stop painting. I grew up in the beautiful valley town of Dehradun, situated in the foothills of Himalayas in India.
As one can notice, a lot of my art is influenced by the mountains I grew up in. From soul stirring sunset horizons to noisy river banks, everything about the mountains still move me. I believe paintings can capture souls, mine sure is in all of them. Every piece I have done is quite simple, the complexity is in the mind of the audience. This is my expression.
I work on them when I am feeling happy, lonely, overwhelmed, buoyant or even just a little sick of the world. I love to leave the ground sometimes with my art!
